Share Studio Basics
Create a polished journal card without rebuilding its layout by hand.
Open Share Studio
Section titled “Open Share Studio”Tap Share from a supported fragrance, diary entry, Today card, collection, wishlist, formula, comparison, Scent Wrapped, or portrait surface. The editor opens with that content already arranged in a suitable design.
On iPhone, the main tools sit in a bottom strip. On iPad and Mac, they use the wider side panel. The card and available actions are the same.
Choose a design
Section titled “Choose a design”- Open Design.
- Browse the static previews. The centered preview uses the same layout and still artwork as the exported image.
- Select the design you want.
- Choose Apply.
Applying a design updates the card composition, background, accent, and typography together. Decorative card artwork and design previews do not animate on their own. Brief interface transitions can still respond to your actions when Reduce Motion is off. The exported image is static. Until you choose Apply, browsing does not replace the current card. The change is one Undo step.
Each preview prepares only the photos that its design actually paints. If a newly selected design needs a different photo, that image can appear after a brief placeholder while it is prepared. Export still renders the selected design at full quality.

Choose a size
Section titled “Choose a size”Open Size and choose:
- Portrait for a classic vertical card.
- Square for a feed post.
- Story for a tall story format.
- Wide for a banner or landscape post.
Some curated designs include a dedicated layout for each size. Choosing one of those sizes loads its exact layout, and Share Studio remembers your working edits separately for every size you visit. Built-in designs and My Designs continue adapting the current layers and their intended edge relationships as one reusable layout.
Changing size does not repair or rearrange the composition. The preview remains authoritative even when a layer overlaps another layer or extends past the card edge.
With Reduce Motion on, resetting a zoomed canvas returns it to the fitted view immediately. The final image is unchanged.
Choose what to include
Section titled “Choose what to include”When the design contains optional information, open Content to hide or show supported details such as a personal note, date, weather, rating, spray count, performance, or collection value.
This changes only the current card. It does not delete anything from your fragrance or diary entry. Content is absent when the design has no optional details.
Save and reuse a design
Section titled “Save and reuse a design”Share Studio keeps the latest working edit for recovery. My Designs lets you keep named layouts for later.
- Open the overflow menu.
- Choose My Designs.
- Continue the latest edit, or save the current design with a name.
- Select a saved design to apply it to the current content.
- Use its More menu to favorite, rename, duplicate, or delete it.
With iCloud Sync, named My Designs and their custom images follow your Apple Account privately. The current unsaved recovery edit stays on the device where you made it. With Local Only, named designs stay on that device too.
Share or copy the card
Section titled “Share or copy the card”- Check the final preview.
- Tap Share to create the image and open the system share sheet.
- Choose Messages, Mail, Photos, AirDrop, or another destination.
- Alternatively, use Copy image in the overflow menu and paste the card elsewhere.
Share and Copy render the card exactly as it currently appears. They do not show a fit warning, rearrange the layout, or block an intentional overlap or edge crop. The image is rendered on your device. Using Share Studio does not publish your journal or upload the card to Orrique.
Switch the featured content
Section titled “Switch the featured content”The Featured group in the overflow menu can rebuild the card around another supported subject, such as Today’s Pick, a fragrance, formula, comparison, or another available journal summary. The current design carries over as one Undo step.
When you want deeper editing
Section titled “When you want deeper editing”Open Editing Cards with Pro to change backgrounds, typography, elements, canvas placement, block-following rules, layers, grouped designs, size adaptation, and the Orrique mark. Manual paints can use custom Start and End colors with an adjustable gradient angle, and the font picker can use fonts currently available on the device. The Pro Add panel can preserve an SVG’s rendered curves and shapes as a recolorable Mark, crop away its empty viewport space, or turn a raster image into compact editable linework with the same parser used for brand logos. Grouping lets several text, image, mark, shape, symbol, and detail elements move, scale, rotate, duplicate, and reorder as one design while an explicit Edit group mode keeps individual controls available. That guide also explains live Aura text color, fingerprint labels, center-to-center placement, visible-ink following, Ride Box, and the shared transform frame used by content, selection outlines, and resize corners.
The Pro background tools include a scent-aura choice. Its small still tile previews the same deepened surface and portrait or landscape shading as the card.
