Calendar Sync and Planning
Calendar Sync writes saved Diary wears to an Orrique Diary calendar. Calendar Planning separately reads selected upcoming events and suggests a wearable scent from your collection.
ProSync saved wears to Calendar
Section titled “Sync saved wears to Calendar”- Open Settings, then Calendar & Planning.
- Turn on Sync diary to Calendar.
- Allow full Calendar access when the device asks.
- Choose Names and diary details, Scent names only, or Private title.
- Tap Sync Now when you want to push the current Diary immediately.
Each saved Diary entry becomes an all-day event in the Orrique Diary calendar. Deleting a known Diary entry removes its synced event. Use Advanced, then Reset Calendar Sync if the Orrique Diary calendar was removed or needs to be rebuilt.
Plan a future wear
Section titled “Plan a future wear”- In Calendar & Planning, turn on Calendar Planning.
- Choose the calendars and wearable formats Orrique may use.
- Add ignored event words when titles such as pickups or rota entries should not produce suggestions.
- Open an upcoming suggestion from Settings or the Calendar ahead deck on Today.
- Review the selected scent, alternates, event evidence, and optional mood intent.
- Tap Plan Wear.
A future event keeps one planned wear for that event occurrence. When notifications are allowed, Orrique schedules a reminder with Log Wear and Dismiss actions. Planning does not add anything to your Diary until you save the later log.
When an event has already started, the planning sheet offers Log Wear instead. The draft uses the event date and carries the event title into the moment field.
Privacy and device behavior
Section titled “Privacy and device behavior”- The privacy level controls how much of the saved Diary entry Calendar can display.
- Planning reads event title, date, source, and location text when your device provides them.
- Weather uses the forecast for your current device area. Orrique does not geocode the event location.
- Mood intent is an optional planning score. It is not read from Apple Health and is only saved if you later save a Diary entry.
- Calendar and notification permissions are granted separately on each device, even when supported preferences sync through iCloud.
If full Calendar access is denied, unavailable, or limited to write-only access, planning cannot read upcoming events. Orrique explains the missing permission in Settings.
Export a manual calendar file
Section titled “Export a manual calendar file”For a one-time snapshot, open Settings, Backup & Export, then use Calendar Export. Choose all-day, logged-time, or fixed-time events, select the privacy detail level, and export the .ics file. This does not keep future Diary changes in sync.
