If You Cancel Orrique Pro
Cancelling Orrique Pro is safe. Your journal does not depend on the subscription, and nothing you logged or collected is deleted when access ends. This guide walks through exactly what pauses, what stays, what is worth exporting first, and how coming back works.
The day your access ends
Section titled “The day your access ends”When the paid period ends, Pro-only controls return to their locked state. In practice, that means:
- Ask Orrique returns to its free allowance of 3 questions per rolling week.
- Read Bottle returns to the free allowance of 3 scans in total. Scans you used before subscribing count against it, so if the allowance is spent, scanning waits until Pro is active again. Catalog search and entering details by hand stay free.
- Wear Patterns, cost per wear, and season drift in the Scent Atlas, along with the time range and season scope, stop appearing.
- The written AI reads pause: your Scent Profile, the written gap read, the Layering Room “why this works” read, the Base coach, the Wear Coach note, and the Scent Librarian read.
- Compare scents and Layers well with become unavailable. The free Layering Room pairing finder keeps working.
- Pro Today Pick strategies step aside. Balanced becomes the effective strategy, while your saved Pro choice is kept rather than deleted.
- Calendar sync and planning stop: the managed Orrique Diary calendar, upcoming event scent ideas, Plan Wear, travel capsule previews, and the manual calendar file export.
- Deep share card editing and watermark control close. Picking a Style and a Size and sharing a card stay free, with the Orrique mark in the corner.
- Guided wear rituals and wear session reminders pause. Basic live sessions and phase prompts stay free.

What always stays
Section titled “What always stays”Letting Pro lapse takes nothing away from the free side. Everything below keeps working exactly as before:
- Your collection, shelves, wishlist, containers, and the Dupes destination.
- Your diary, with logging, wear presets, basic live sessions, same-day and next-day ratings, and suggested log prefills.
- Today’s Pick with Balanced, Fair Rotation, Rediscover, Favorites, and Surprise Me.
- The free Atlas lenses: the Wheel, your fingerprint, the Year heatmap, the Map, Scent Wrapped, and Your Scent Portrait.
- Discover, Scent Twin, dupe matches, and the note encyclopedia.
- Share cards with a Style and a Size, widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight.
- Full backup and restore, and CSV import and export.
- The free on-device AI features: the review draft, the weekly recap, and Scent Twin.
Saved journal records remain yours. Pro-only views and editors become unavailable, but Orrique does not delete collection or diary data when Pro ends.
What to export before you cancel
Section titled “What to export before you cancel”Backups and spreadsheet exports are always free, so there is no rush on those. One export is Pro, so grab it while access is active if you want it:
- Export Diary Calendar File in Backup & Export creates a
.icssnapshot of your wears. It is a Pro export, so make one before your access ends if you want a calendar copy. - A full backup is good practice at any transition point. It gives you a recovery copy that is entirely under your control.

How cancellation timing works
Section titled “How cancellation timing works”- Open Settings, then the Pro area.
- Open Subscription, then Manage Subscription.
- Apple opens the system subscription page. Cancel the plan there.
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Access normally continues until the paid period ends, and the system subscription page shows the effective date. If your Pro comes through Family Sharing, access follows the shared subscription and ends if the organizer stops sharing it.
Refunds go through Apple
Section titled “Refunds go through Apple”Billing is handled entirely by the App Store, so Orrique cannot issue a refund directly. Request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
If you come back
Section titled “If you come back”Resubscribe any time from the same Pro screen, or use Restore Purchases if an active subscription is not recognized. Restoring a purchase brings Pro back without touching your scents or diary. Because your saved Pro Today Pick strategy was kept during the lapse, it is waiting exactly where you left it, and the Pro views pick up your journal as it stands today.
