# Visual Intelligence Search

> Use supported Apple visual search to find saved fragrances in Orrique, understand what is matched, and recover when nothing is found.

On a supported iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence, Visual Intelligence can hand a captured bottle or screenshot to Orrique. Orrique then searches the fragrances already saved in your local collection.

> **Privacy: Local collection search.**
> Orrique reads visible bottle text and compares the capture with bottle artwork already cached for your collection. It does not identify against the public fragrance catalog or search the web.

## Search from a capture

1. Open Visual Intelligence for an onscreen image, screenshot, or camera view supported by your device.
2. Choose Orrique when it appears as a search destination.
3. Tap an individual scent result to open that fragrance.
4. Choose **Search Scents in Orrique** to open Collection with the full local result set.

Collection shows that you are viewing captured results and lets you clear them or continue with ordinary text search.

Opening a captured result is read-only. It does not Quick-Log the scent, replace the current Today focus, or change an active wear session.

## What improves a match

- Keep the brand and fragrance name visible and reasonably sharp.
- Avoid covering the main label with reflections or another object.
- Save a bottle image on the fragrance page when you want visual similarity to help future local matches.
- Confirm that the fragrance is already in your collection.

Visible label text is the strongest signal. Bottle artwork is supporting evidence from your locally cached collection images.

## When nothing matches

Orrique opens a no-match state rather than showing unrelated bottles. Choose **Search collection** to use the normal Collection search field, or add the fragrance if it is not saved yet.

Visual Intelligence availability depends on Apple's supported devices, operating-system availability, language, and Apple Intelligence settings. If Orrique is not offered by the system, use Collection search or [Read Bottle](https://help.orrique.com/Read_Bottle/) instead.

> **Visual Intelligence and Read Bottle are different.**
> Visual Intelligence searches your existing collection. Read Bottle opens an add-fragrance draft and can match visible label text with public fragrance facts before you review and save it.
